Patches on your uniform

Three patches are required on your beginner white uniform:

• The USA flag placed over the right sleeve, below the seam
• The Korean flag placed over the Left sleeve below the seam with the Red crest on top
• The Lead By Example TKD Circular School patch placed over the left chest

Students will receive these patches once they have enrolled into the Beginner program. Students in the Black Belt Club and the Master's Club will receive an additional BBC or MC patch to place above their school patch.

Sparring and Protective Equipment

Due to mandatory insurance regulations, all students engaged in partner sparring activities are required to have all required saftey equipment including:

• hand chops
• kicks for feet
• shin guards
• chest gear
• head gear with face shield
• mouthpiece
• groin cup for males

Introduction to blocking and moving will begin at white and gold belts, partner rhythm sparring will begin at orange belt with the exception for teen and adults who may begin at gold belt. Everything possible is done to minimize injuries during class, however students and parents should keep in mind that the chance of serious injury or accidents may happen.
