Incredible Weight Loss Results

Since beginning Tae Kwon Do, I’ve lost several inches off my waist and sixty pounds. More importantly, I can climb ten flights of stairs and only be slightly winded (I found this out when the elevators were out of service at work one morning), and I’m as flexible as I’ve ever been in my life. I’m currently ten pounds heavier than I was upon graduating from high school, and that was seventeen years ago. How many people do you know who can say that? My blood pressure is solidly just below the halfway mark for normal and my cholesterol level is 155 (that’s LDL, HDL, and VHDL combined).

More than all of this, as great as all of this is, the best part of taking Tae Kwon Do is that it is something I’ve been able to do along side my son. We tested for, and achieved, Black belt together. That was one of the proudest moments of my life.
